Twitter Contest

Cambridge Science Festival Announces a Twitter Contest!

This year, the Cambridge Science Festival  jumped on board with using Twitter. So far, the response has been great, and we have close to 600 followers! But the Boston area is a big place, and we want everyone to know what you already know – that the Cambridge Science Festival is an amazing event not to be missed! We really want you to help us spread the word, and we’ve set up a contest to make it more fun. Here’s how it works:

1)      Every time you do the following, you will be entered to win a prize:  a) Retweet one of our original tweets to your followers – doesn’t matter which one, just whatever you find interesting; b) Mention us in your “Follow Friday” recommendations, or otherwise encourage people to follow us; c) live tweet when you’re at a CSF event and use the hashtag #cambscifest

2)      The more you retweet, recommend that people follow us,  or live tweet, the more you’ll be entered to win a prize – each retweet or mention = one entry.

3)      Tweets/mentions must take place between April 2, 6am and May 2, 12am.

4)      We are giving away ten prizes total; 5 pairs of passes to the entertaining and educational MIT museum, and 5 sets of Cambridge Science Festival T-shirts and tote bags, so you can wear your science/tech enthusiasm proudly (and stylishly!)

5)      Winners will be drawn on Monday, May 3rd, and contacted via direct message on Twitter to arrange for pick up or mailing of their prizes.

So now, give us a hand! There are over 200 events, almost all of them free happening from April 23-May 2, so there’s sure to be something you want your friends to know about. Good luck!
