About The Event:
Did you know that the MIT Lincoln Laboratory conducts research at the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands? The research there spans above and below the ocean, from observations of satellites orbiting Earth to monitoring and working to understand the impacts of climate change on vulnerable reefs.

For this special edition of Meet an Engineer, Dr. Tommy Sebastian, a scientific advisor and mechanical engineer at the Atoll, will zoom in live from the Pacific and share how Lincoln’s prototyping-centered approach can be applied to such vastly different domains.
