About The Event:
A scanning electron microscope (SEM) is an exciting tool for exploring the tiniest microscopic details of the world around us.
Help us add color to our growing collection of SEM images of everyday (and not so every day) things in our community-wide project. Visit our online gallery of black and white images, select one or more to download, then colorize them to life following our easy-to-follow instructions. Once finished, upload your image to our SEM image showcase to share your creations!

Need some help or want to learn more about the SEM? Join us for one or all of our free, live SEM sessions as we capture new images. Then drop in for some tips on colorization during one of our tutorial help sessions.
