The Thorlabs mobile photonics lab brings the science of light to you. We will demonstrate measuring light at different colors to identify materials (spectroscopy), image inside the body with light (biomedical optics), transfer electrical signals through the air with laser beams (optical communications), and show what the inside of optical fiber looks like and how it works.
