Located in the heart of greater Boston’s technology community, Google Cambridge has more than 2,100 employees working across more than 30 teams, including our Global Business Organization (sales) and many different engineering and product areas. Some of the teams in Cambridge include Google Cloud, Flights & Hotels, Search & Assistant, networking infrastructure, Android, YouTube, and Chrome. We also have employees working on research in areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Google strives to be a good neighbor in the local community and, since 2011, has given $36.3 million in charitable giving dollars donated to nonprofits and schools in Massachusetts and since 2005, awarded over $16 million in Faculty Research Awards and Ph.D. fellowships to Massachusetts universities and colleges. In 2021, Google helped provide $22.37 billion of economic activity for tens of thousands of Massachusetts businesses, nonprofits, publishers, creators and developers.
