Engineering Exposure with Novanta

Come learn about laser image projection and motors.

Festival guests will have the opportunity to use multiple axis motors to project laser images and text.

Galvo motors and lasers are an exciting technology that are used in a wide range of applications across industrial equipment to medical devices such as 3D printers to eye surgery.

We will be showing how a galvo motor can be programmed to scan laser images and you will have the opportunity to enter your name or a short phrase and watch the laser-motor system scan it to life.
