Lava Lamps with MIT SWE

Have you ever wondered what makes a lava lamp glow with bright, beautiful colors? Come visit MIT’s Society of Women Engineers to learn the science behind lava lamps and make your own unique lava lamp!

MIT Society of Engineers was founded in 1979. Since then, we have strived to inspire younger generations about engineering, encourage the notion of diversity in engineering, and determine and advocate for the needs of women engineers at MIT and the broader community. Come visit our booth to learn more about what we do, how you can participate, and make some fun lava lamps!
