Marija Draskic Brancazio | Artist Biography

Admirers of Mythology, Spirituality and Traditions of the World would enjoy the artwork of Marija Draskic Brancazio. Leaving her home country of Serbia in 2015 eventually brought her to the USA, where she received a sponsorship to continue her design education at Washington University in St. Louis. During the past four years of professional design work in Boston, she continued to pursue her passion for painting and music, eventually becoming a full time artist in 2022. Using UV glow-in-the-dark mediums, she creates interactive and immersive experiences with her visual art. She now lives and loves in Cambridge, performing with her band Sapatnik, and telling stories of a rich journey, painted with colors, symbols and sounds.
