Planets, Space Rocks, and Magnetic Fields

Visit us to see a collection of meteorites and a variety of hands-on demonstrations exploring magnetic fields. Games and activities focus on how we measure planetary magnetic fields, and what we can learn from them.

Magnetic fields are everywhere on Earth and in space.  We have a variety of demonstrations and games that allow visitors to explore planetary magnetic fields. Come view a collection of space rocks and learn what secrets they might hold about the history of our solar system.  Learn how scientists collect information about planetary magnetic fields with instruments on board spacecraft.  Use your science skills to identify a meteorite and find magnetic anomalies!
