CSAIL Lecture: AI Informing Art

To make The End of Signature, Agnieszka Kurant used artificial intelligence to create two different collective signatures realized as monumental light sculptures adorning the facades of two new buildings in Kendall Square.

Join doctoral students Divya Shanmugam and Jose Javier Gonzalez Ortiz from the MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory to discover more on the behind-the-scenes development of The End of Signature by Agnieszka Kurant. This lecture will break down how their work with fellow doctoral student Katie Lewis and Professor John Guttag contributed to the latest addition to MIT’s Public Art Collection.
