The Broad Discovery Center is an active, public educational space that showcases how researchers at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and their colleagues in Kendall Square and around the world are seeking to understand and treat human disease.
Broad Discovery Center showcases five galleries, where visitors can immerse themselves in interactive and informative exhibits and learn how researchers at Broad along with collaborators across the globe are chasing down the basis of psychiatric conditions, cancer, infectious diseases, rare genetic conditions, and more.
This new public engagement and educational space is targeted towards teenagers and adults. After the Cambridge Science Festival, the Broad Discovery Center will open on a regular basis starting Monday, October 31. Staffed hours will be Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Visitors can also explore the galleries as a self-guided experience when the building is open during standard business hours.
