The Winsor Robotics club has two FIRST teams, including is the award-winning FTC team #13620, and FTC team #20409. Composed of students from grades 9-12 at the Winsor School, the club was founded in 2017 with a mission to uplift gender minorities in STEM, and since its creation, it has become an active part of the Winsor and FTC communities. FTC stands for the FIRST Tech Challenge by the organization FIRST, an international high school robotics competition. To optimize efficiency and encourage students to explore their interests in the multifaceted nature of STEM, both Winsor Robotics teams have three sub-groups: building, coding, and business. We would love to show off our robots from the past few years and have families and attendees drive our current robot. We would also love to share more about FTC with students and families who might be interested.
