WPI / Jabil Heathcare and Mass Academy FIRST Team 190

The WPI / Jabil Heathcare and Mass Academy FIRST team will be demonstrating their 2022 FIRST Robotics Competition robot, the Goat-A-Roo. Learn about the FIRST program, watch our 120 lb. robot drive and launch balls into the air, and have a chance to operate it yourself!

Founded in 1992, Team 190 is a high school robotics team located in Worcester, MA. Students from the local area and the Mass Academy of Math and Science work with industry professionals and college students from WPI to build and compete with a 125 lb. robot in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Teams from around the world participate in the FIRST program, working with mentors to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technology professionals.

This year’s robot is designed to pick up and launch 10” diameter balls into a hoop eight feet tall and four feet wide. Team members will be present to answer questions, show off the robot, and give robot driving lessons to people visiting the festival.
