Cambridge Science Festival is 100% funded by the generosity of our supporters, making every gift extremely impactful. Over the years, thanks to our sponsors, the MIT Museum and the Festival have reached hundreds of thousands of members of the greater Cambridge community.  Robust, engaging and inspiring programs and events have made STEAM interaction accessible, engaging and fun for all.

Why support CSF?

Cambridge is home to a diverse, talented, and multilingual community with extraordinary artists, musicians and creatives and the city hosts some of the world’s leading academic institutions and ground-breaking research. The Festival bridges the gap between the innovative economy and its residents to share knowledge, experience, wonderment and awe with everyone who calls Cambridge home. CSF shares the world of STEAM in a fun, approachable and accessible way for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

MIT Museum produces CSF as their largest public facing program. The festival extends the Museum’s outreach, welcomes new audiences and partners as part of achieving our mission of making science and innovation accessible to all during CSF and year-round. The MIT Museum offers free admission to all during the festival and year-round to Cambridge residents.

MIT is known for its stellar science and engineering curriculum, paired with some of the best research in the world.  The Institute’s motto of ‘mind and hand’, placed within an environment known for experimentation, is home to the MIT Museum and many of the festival programs.
